Getting Started

1. Install the app: TankRoute on the App Store — free of charge. The Android version is currently in test operation on Google Play.
2. Location access: On first launch, select “While Using the App”.
3. Add a vehicle: Settings → Garage → Add vehicle.

Features

Real-Time Prices

The app shows colour-coded markers on the map — green is cheap, red is expensive. Tapping a filling station shows details and starts navigation.

SmartFuel AI (Pro)

Automatically detects when you are driving. If your virtual fuel level drops below 20%, you receive a push recommendation with the cheapest filling station on your route.

Price Alerts (Pro)

Set a target price for a filling station or a radius. As soon as the price is reached, you receive a push notification.

Garage

Multiple vehicles with fuel level, consumption and mileage history. The automatic car detection assigns the kilometres driven to the correct vehicle.

Common Problems

No filling stations on the map

• Location enabled? iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → TankRoute. Android: Settings → Location → App permissions → TankRoute.
• Internet connection: Prices are loaded live; without a signal, cached prices are displayed.

Push notifications not working

• iOS: Settings → Notifications → TankRoute → Allow Notifications.
• Android: Settings → Apps → TankRoute → Enable notifications.

For price alerts, an active alert must additionally be set in the app.

Delete Account

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes all associated personal data.
